Blind date nights
We have run two incredibly successful blind date nights in London, one at Christmas in 2018 and the other for Valentine’s 2020. The mystery couples met in bars around Brixton and swapped tales of their dates on a night out in Gremio. Over the two events we fundraised an amazing £2200 and match made over 150 people! We can’t wait for the next one.
Somos Colombia!
Back in 2019, we hosted a Colombian music event at Rich Mix in Shoreditch and sold over 150 tickets! We kicked off the night with a salsa class from Fuego Caleño then danced to live music from the Indios (@theindiosuk) and Esteban Card (@esteban_card). Farrell (@alexfarrellmusic), founder of the London Afrobeat Collective, ended the evening with a mesmerising DJ set.
Community events
We’ve also fundraised in our local communities and workplaces through 5 pub quizzes and a charity dinner at The Colombian in Elephant and Castle. Lucky winners at the pub quizzes walked away with, free salsa class vouchers, tickets to the London Bridge experience, floatation sessions, Colombian coffee and much more.
